This wine explodes with candied fruitiness, followed by spice and a smoky finish. There is an aroma of black cherry, blackberry, dark plum, and licorice. Fruit forward, this wine is intrinsically balanced and spicy, but with nice acidity. Pair with roast beef, chili spiced cuisine, grilled salmon, smoked oysters, barbecued pork, even Hawaiian pizza.
