A complex balance of earthy and fruity with a slightly briny top note followed by dried plum, black currant, oregano, mustard seed, black cherry, pomegranate, and a wet granite minerality. Equally complex on the palate, this wine has a nice density throughout with warmth and structure that build from the mid-palate through the finish. The subtle acidity underpins the long velvety finish of slightly peppery notes and mild earthiness.
This vintage has a beautiful balance between earth and fruit, with dark berry notes as well as black cherry, plum, and dried fig. Aged in oak, it is full-bodied with juicy red flavors and a nicely balanced complexity. Pair it with cured meats, olives, tacos, burgers, lamb, root vegetables, and steak.
